I currently live in Salwa with 2 other people, but I am looking for single accommodation in these areas Hawally, Salwa, Salmiya and some of the others around these areas.
Where do I start looking?

The best way is to walk around the areas you are interested in and ask the building haris if there are available flats.

It would help to have someone who speaks Arabic with you as many of them don't speak english, but that is definitely the best way to find yourself a place.
As for the cat, thanks I guess. You are lucky you cannot sense her foul breath though.
