Hello everyone,
My name is Veronica and I registered today. I am Irish and just moved to Luneburg to join my husband (Australian) who has a position at Leuphana University. As I am totally new to Germany I would appreciate any advice on where to start with a German language course, if there is any possibility of finding an english speaking job, or to connect with other new english speakers in Luneburg.
My background is in environmental science (PhD) and for the past 3 years I worked as a marine science officer in Belgium as part of a secretariat. From reading through other threads here I did see mention of the 'Arbeitsamt' which seems like a good place to start the job hunt.
