Hi everyone,

Do you follow fashion trends in Peru? Every country and every culture has its own dress code. As far as you are concerned, have you changed the way you dress?

Can one easily find fashion boutiques in Peru? Are clothes expensive there? Or cheap?

What do Peruvians usually wear or like to wear the most?

Hey Priscilla,

There are fashion boutiques in Peru. I live in Lima and you will see a great contrast in the type of clothes people wear depending on which area you are situated in. For example the center of Lima to Miraflores.

However something I have noticed especially in women's clothing is that they don't wear dresses. I see a lot of jean trousers or if not lyrca-made.

There is a place you may have heard of in Lima it's called Gamarra, it is pretty much a textile district. There you can find (but you have to look around) really well made goods for a cheap price, be careful to stay within the fences for security.
