Visiting Oman--Can I go to Dubai and come back?

Hey everyone,

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Oman, but he is going to be staying a little longer. We are flying into Muscat and I am flying out of Dubai.

Our plan is to spend about 10-12 days exploring Oman and then do a few days in Dubai before I fly out, however my boyfriend has to get to Muscat where we have some friends. Can he come to Dubai with me and get back to Oman on the same visa, or does he have to get a different one? Or...is this not possible at all?

Also, do we need anything to get into the country? It looks like it's just a passport and you get the visa at the airport.

Coming back to Oman on the same visa isn't possible, it's a single entry visa. Getting a new visa when he comes back is pretty easy and quick.

You only need your passport, nothing else. You get the visa at the airport after paying the fees in the Travlex Shop at the arrival terminal.
