Wheelchair user need help finding a rental property

Hello guys,

I moved to Belgium last week, I am a full time powered wheelchair and 100% independent. I wonder if someone could help me as I don't speak french or dutch (stupid, I know, but I'm only here for about 4 months).

I'm trying to find wheelchair accessible property, 1 bed room apartment that has lift or ground floor access (do not require and adapted bathroom etc) but I am struggling.

Just spent a wee in Brussels and did not like it much as it is not very accessible and cobbled streets everywhere, pavements have very steep ramp shaped drop down curves.

I'm now in Antwerp, much better but not ideal.

Would anyone be willing to assist?

Kind regards

Waqas

Hi Waqas,

Welcome on board  :)

You could drop an advert in the Housing in Antwerp section of the website, feel free to provide all the details about your requirements. It might get you some suitable offers.

You may browse the following website as well : http://www.world-guides.com/europe/belg … state.html

or search on the internet for an english speaking professional (Real Estate Agent/agency)

All the best,
Bhavna
