We are family of 5 from malta eu planning to move to Scotland .we have the permite to work in the UK .the problem is to let a long term property they ask us for a job but first wr need to find to let a property second step in the work .and we are still here in malta they cannot let us a property .we are looking forward to make the move .

Hi Ritienne,
Welcome to the Forum. I sympathise with your predicament, but it's pretty standard in the UK when renting property that landlords will only rent to people who are in-work and many ask for a significant deposit up-front.
Perhaps another solution is for one of the group to travel over first and use something like AirBnB to find accommodation that they could use until a job is found, then you can look to renting something for the whole family.
