I need Romanian insurance on UK plates. Anyone your help greatly appreciate

Not possible. Either register the car in Romania or insure it in UK

I know many Brits , who insure the car in UK, drive it annually for its MOT and nobody knows they live in Romania.
If something happend, you were on holiday in Romania...

This is what someone else said about car insurance in Romania, quote:

"still registered & insured in the uk. If you use NFU insurance, they give you a years green card & since there is no way of knowing how long you are in or out of the uk, they don't ask. You cant really register your car in romania though due to cost. My old 1995 merc would cost me 7,000 or 8,000e to register, or 500e in Bulgaria, but since its only worth 1000gbp, I never bothered."
