Hello,
I am currently under revision for Residence Permit here in Belgium, we are to receive an answer next week as per our application sheet, however I just reviewed the foreign affairs website and the timeframe for application reviews has been extended from 6 months to 9 months, therefore we may be told we should wait 3 more months on our next week appointment. Has anyone had any experience yet for this change of timeframe? In any way have they respond to you in the stated 6 months period as per your application sheets?

Yes it was recently changed from 6 to 9 months. That means your commune wont have an answer till the end of the full 9 months as the information is fed from the Brussels immigration systems.
