Hi

My husband is looking into a job in Al Hamra. Could anyone advise about what it would be like moving out there with a family please. My children are aged 9 and 13 yrs and would like some advice on schools. I have had a little look online and there seems to be a good school nearby in Rak however this is private and a lot of money. Does anyone send children to local schools?
Also as my husband would have a job, I would therefore need to look for one once out there eventually. Is there part time jobs around in local schools etc and is this accepted from locals?

Any advise and knowledge of area would be great. thankyou

Great, there are good schools around Hamra, Its small town where you can get everything and part time jobs is depends upon. I hope there is not an issue on it.

i think it is more about cost, its two sets of fees and a 2/3 bed apartment/villa, and a car. we are trying to figure out if we can afford the move without having to sell our house in the UK.
which schools are worth looking into that are not the most expensive?
also where to live within driving distance to Al Hamra
