Hi Jacob Mathew. Lots of people live in Bahrain with family and commute to Eastern Province on work.

If you will get a Bahrain CPR, then you will get a Bahrain residence permit alongwith it.

Bahrain issues something called a "Paper CPR" with a residence permit, based on your Saudi work visa and Iqama. This residence permit is your Bahrain visa and you dont need to get one each time you enter Bahrain.

We recently moved to Bahrain and my husband works in Saudi .

Would you know the process to get the Paper CPR?

I read several threads and was unable to understand the complete process.

There are two parts to the process.

One relates to your husband's employers i.e. they need to give certain documentation such as NOC for the family to live in Bahrain.

The second is the actual legwork to be done in Bahrain to get all of the above sorted.

I would suggest that you get an agent.  People on these forums can give you a reference.
