I'm willing inshalla to travel Kuala Lumpur on January.. i booked flights,, shall i visit the embassy/consulate before travel? Note that I'm Egyptian.

Well check their govt website whether you need a visa prior to arrival or if your country is in the list of on arrival visa then enjoy.
I love KL...maybe i'll visit sometime soon....

Malaysia is amazing .
You don't need visa as mentioned.
An advice , get on the "Hop-On , Hop-Off bus , best way to tour KL in a day
