Living in Kenya

Hi All,
I am new in this forum. I am having an intention to work in Kenya, most probably in Nairobi.
In the event I would consider the offer, appreciate if some information/advise from the group.

1. International Shcool in Nairobi for my kids ages 14, 10, 5 and 4. Over in my country Secondary 2, Primary 4,Pre-school and kindergarten respectively. Would it be available in Nairobi for the English medium.

2. The income tax need to be paid.

3. Any income tax exemption ( tax will be paid by employer)

4. Does international driving license is valid under Kenyan Law. For your information my home country driving is "right hand drive"

Hello,

1. International schools are plenty. You have choices of the British, US, IB and local curriculum.

2. 30% income tax

3. Exemptions are minor and not worth considering (www.revenue.go.ke)

4. International driving licenses are valid. If you come from a Commonwealth country you can obtain a local license without having to undergo a test.
