Hello everyone,

Finding affordable housing in Cairo is number one priority for newcomers. Tell us more about the estate market in your district/city/region.

What are the most desired places to live? What are the most affordable ones? What is the average cost of a rented flat? And what is the average sale price for an appartment or a house? Could you tell us more about local real estate policies/procedures? What about property tax or residency tax in Cairo?

What about you? Where do you live now? Is it a place you would recommend?

It's long story.
But it is look like manila and other cities.

Out side of Cairo best.

Areas near to the airport, downtown or Giza - I guess property starts from 4000LE pm for a super lux apartment.

For a 2 bed room ensuite bathroom huge apartment - I paid 2500 LE pm in masr gedida. Beautiful apartment equipped and had a garden with swimming pool. near to hegaz and the military airport
