I'm not there yet, but I expect to be around the end of the year. One thing I've found particularly off-putting is the difficulty in finding independent sources to verify what I'm being told (e.g. this notion of paying rent in advance for the entire lease period and paying a security deposit equal to about half that rent and sending that money from the States by Western Union, though both the American government and Western Union advise against sending money to people you don't know personally).
