Interneship in Malta as a non-eu national

Hi am an in international student I have been living and studying in London for 6years.
I am in Financial Accounting and want to become et charted accountant.
I was planning to move to Malta to gain some experience through internships and also discover the country.
I registered with an agency so that they could find a 6months internship for me in Malta.
I just realise its more difficult than I thought as they could not advice me on the precedure to take in order to gain the right to do an intership in Malta as a non-eu.
Could anyone please help or advise on what to do in order to make this happen for me.
Thank you.

At the moment am back home (Niger) for some time off.
I am a Niger citizen.

Anyone has any idea what I should do please??????

As your first post was a month ago and no one has replied it probably means that no one
unfortunately knows the answer you require.

I emailed Gozo university over a week ago asking similar questions on courses for a non eu student and have had no reply. This terrible response isn't like this in the UK.

Perhaps they knew you weren't a non EU student!
As for the UK, if it is so great, why come here!

Thank you... you must be right!
I hope I can find a way to call somewhere to fin an info!
I would really love to stay in Malta for that internship!!

That's quite a silly response. It's not for me as I said but for a Filipino friend. A non-response I find to be quite rude. All it takes to reply to an email is a few minutes.

actually all it takes is a computer, knowing how the computer works, knowing how to use email, being able to read the language the email is in, being comfortable in replying in the same language, being given the time to do so by your employers, having it made part of your job by your supervisors etc.

You'll find the causes are MUCH more systemic than 1 single person being rude to you, best to work the way they work if you want things done.

As it happens, you did not say it was for a Filipino friend, you said it was for a 'non EU student' in the post on this site, which could have been you, as far as anyone knows!

Non reply to an email is normal in Malta!

Many organisations do not respond to unsolicited e-mails; some have e-mail firewalls that deliberately block unknown senders.  Try following this link, it will take you to their contact information and lots of phone numbers you can contact them on.

I agree with volcane that it doesn't necessarily mean someone is being rude because you don't receive a response... I am self employed and offer translations (English-German-Spanish) and English lessons.. You wouldn't believe the amount of mails I get from people asking if I, by any chance, know where to have translations in other languages done, or where to find other language courses, ... I now do not even bother answering at all, not because I'm rude but because it takes more than just a few minutes - and it steals my time I need to actually work... I am of course in no position to know what and who exactly you mailed at Gozo uni, but maybe it was just the wrong person and they had other things to do? Or they didn't know what courses were available, and asking around would have taken more than just a few minutes...?

Many thanks to all.
