Well, our banhars (Tibetan Mastiffs) help with guarding our gers so I think we tolerate dogs pretty well. But we don't let them into our living rooms/kitchens/bedrooms. We usually throw a bone or two for them as snacks and feed them leftover meat for lunch and dinner. We treat them as guardians, and in return, we check off their basic necessities. It's a mutual relationship.
