In my expat life i've made the transition to life without owning a car. i own a motorcycle and rent a car or taxi when i can't do something on a moto. How doable is PY in same way?
Is owning a car necessary to live in PY? Realistically?

I do it but I'm a very experienced rider, having raced motorcycles when I was younger. I would never put a female family member on a motorcycle because it's just too dangerous.
