Your best business development ideas in Tunisia

Hi everyone,

As a foreign entrepreneur, launching a business in Tunisia is a fantastic project and an exciting challenge. Some ideas are likely to succeed. Some others are promising but may not work as well as intended.

In your opinion, what kind of business or industry is likely to succeed in Tunisia? What kind of industry or service currently unavailable or underdeveloped in the country would meet local needs?

On the other hand, what are the most common business types foreign entrepreneurs would be eager to launch in the country but with very little chance of success?

Thank you for your insights.
Priscilla

Very hard to work in Tunisia.  Strait lying talk... expats are not welcome here. And to do business. ........ no way.

Hi
Well I am an ex  licensee, the most unlikely business to be in the alcohol business. I would love to open public house selling alcohol having like fans on and catering for weddings. But I don’t think that would ever happen. That’s why I intend to set up a business teaching English from my laptop on Skype or meeting in a coffee shop or library. My rates will be very fair and that’s the lane I’ll have to go down
I just hope there’s a market out there for this new venture

Sorry but if it was not for expats and people coming for holidays . Your country would be in Serious trouble. Apart from anything else I thought the Koran practiced friendship love and understanding.
