Belgian Citizenship Through Marriage

Hello,

I have a question on Belgian citizenship if anyone can help me with it. I am married to a Belgian citizen but we have been living in the UK after our marriage as my husband works here.

We met in Belgium where I have had a legal residence through being a student in Belgium for 3,5 years. I still have to go to Belgium for exams and etc. but I was just wondering if this would be enough to be counted as strong ties to the country or not?
Thank you

Do you have a 5 years + residence card for Belgium and still live in Belgium registered?
What nationality are you?
Have you followed an integration course?

If you have lived outside Belgium for a period of more than 1 year in that 5year period then you are not eligible for Belgium Citizenship, the law requires you to live in Belgium for 5 years with you being outside Belgium for a period of less than 1 year.
