Hi there,

I can't seem to find the posts regarding the accurate and fair rate for a cleaner. I am looking to employ someone for 4 hours a day in the morning. Her duties would include cleaning for 2 people, including washing and ironing. We would also require her to cook for two people daily. What could we expect to pay for someone?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,

Depend on the cleaner's references. I know a couple of them who have worked with diplomats etc and with references in hand, they charged Rs100 per hour.
