Desert Safari?

Hi guys,
So my parents are visiting in a few weeks, and my dad has expressed he wants to go on a camel/desert safari. Is there such a thing here? Can anyone recommend anything I can do with them? I'm still fairly new to Kuwait and am yet to get to grips with all touristy bits. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I don't think there is such a thing here. There are camps during winter season, but here it is not a organised tourist event, more like a way of living.

There are camel races though, but not sure when they start (these are on hold during summer season).
