Porting USA Cell Phone Number VoIP ?

Hi there!

Has anybody ported your USA cell phone number to a VoIP system so that they can keep their same cell phone number you've had for years and years, without having to pay the expensive AT&T / Verizon monthly fees? Are you able to receive both calls and texts?

What service(s) do you recommend for this? I've been looking into the following ones:

Google Voice (doesn't do text, and you have to be in the USA to set it up)
Anveo (confusing website, I sent them an email, haven't heard back)
Callcentric (doesn't do text)
Twilio (confusing website, I sent them an email, haven't heard back)
Ring.to (not accepting new subscribers)

Any advice is appreciated!
