All politicians do it, usually for fat sacks of cash.
The sad part is they don't give a flying rat's arse about the people they're supposed to be serving as long as they get well paid.
Politicians usually leave office a lot richer than when they entered.

I have great contempt for the vast majority, regardless of the brand of politics they claim to support.

When can you tell if a politician is lying?
Easy, they're talking.

As mentioned above, politics is generally avoided, but I have to admit I'm sometimes naughty and have a go at politicians, most of them usually.

One thing that is especially important is to not allow the useless items to spoil your plans as far as visiting or living in other countries goes.
A poster recently mentioned he wasn't going to visit a country because he didn't like what a politician was doing, but politicians aren't real people.
Go and find out what they're like, not mess around listening to pointless gits out for cash.
