Turkish and Iranian handmade rugs are considered among the best in the world. I was lucky to inherit my grand father's rug collect that consists of several pieces. Some of the rugs require restoration as I would like to save them from further deterioration. May I know where to find an expert rug restorer based in istanbul.

Right behind the Hamam between HagiaSofia and the Blue Mosque, you will find a business that restores rugs, I do not recall the name.
Though I would imagine it to be unreasonably expensive owing to its tourist targeted location.
Your best bet would be to find a restoring expert in one of the nearby villages.
