Hi,

Can any tell me which are the best South African Universities and what time of year does Recruitment happen on campus for the students?!!

Hi Musheer

The best universities are the Univeristy of Cape Town and the Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg. Admissions are usually in December/January as the university term begins early February.

University of the Witwatersrand (wits) is a very (very) good one found in Joburg.

Intake is usually in February, but for freshmans(first timers) you have to be there by mid January due to the orientation week (where you have a tour around campus, someone helps you with registration etc.)

You have to apply around June. Have a look Wits Uni

Come to the High Commission in Port Louis we have all the info you need on this.

What Uni is the best depends on what you want to study realy....some schools are generally very good and others are very good in specific areas.....

Januray is the normal intake but most have a second intake in June
