Hi All

I'm new in Jeddah, having decided to stay here long term I'm in the midst of looking for apartments.

Does anyone have any advice on how to go about this? I would prefer something in a compound but I'm told I might struggle with an 85K budget.

Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated

There are definitely a lot of posts on this blog about compounds in Jeddah.

Arabian Homes and Lotus Compounds are probably out of your price range, but try Sharbatly or Mura Bustan

Thanks all for the replies, I've been reading through the content on the site all night. Never thought I would say this but I would literally pay to find a reliable Real Estate Agent and then pay them too

@stressedmom, thanks for the suggestions, Mura Bustan have studios going for 80k which seems steep (or maybe I underestimated the renting market)
