Best Drinking Water?

What, why and How?

Street water and wells need cleaning, but what is the best and safest healthiest method?

Otherwise, buy expensive bottled water in plastic?   Questionable quality?

What has been your experience?

Check out the location.  some cities do treat the water supply.  Some people install large filter systems in their homes.  Both those seem adequate for lots of Mexicans.

Just to be on the safe side, I have always used bottled water for drinking and brewing tea or coffee.  The resultant taste is better.  Bonafont or Ciel are almost certainly safe being the same filtered water the bottling companies us for soft drinks.

Tap water is fine for cooking.  I have a total of 12 years in Mexico and never had a problem.  Less than $2.00USD for 20 liters (5 gal.) is a small enough expense.

Can't recommend a bottled water company because all are not national.  Bottled is by far the best solution

A Garafon of water runs from 12 to 28 pesos ...... expensive ?

Can the reverse osmosis process with UV provide good healthy water from city untreated water at the street to the home?  What is the best reliable brand?
