Planning on living in Balaclava soon, just trying to build up contacts and an understanding of the area; shops, beaches, etc......

Any info or people that live there will be useful.

Hi Jermaine,

Balaclava is a very quiet place, between Port Louis and Grand Bay ... no restaurants or pub (a few hotels) it is very, very quiet, but not that far from G Bay (15-20 mins)

... I am sure you'll like the turtle bay

Thanks for your response. Quiet to me is a good thing. Away from the hustle and bustle!
