Newly qualified radiographer

Hello everyone!

I am a student radiographer in the UK and about to be graduated in January 2017. I intend to work in Abu Dhabi after the graduation. Is it true that you have to have minimum of 2 years of experience in order to be employed by any of the hospital in Abu Dhabi?

Yes, it is true. Then only the health authority will consider your application for appearing the exam (HAAD in Abu Dhabi, DHA in Dubai, MOH in Sharjah etc)

Hi shanafashyaana,

UK qualified radiographer are exempt from having an exam of (HAAD/DHA/MOH) as we're registered with HPC (Health profession council, British health authority). Would we still have to wait for minimum 2 years in order to practice?
