Your new local habits in Paraguay

Hello everyone,

Living in Paraguay is a great way to immerse in a new culture and lifestyle.

Have you embraced local customs since you've lived in Paraguay? If so, which one(s)?

Did local customs change the way you see things, appreciate life or organize your daily routines? As far as the language is concerned, did you learn new expressions or words and do you use them?

What do you like most about the lifestyle in your host country? Are there any local specificities you are still struggling with?

Thanks in advance,

Priscilla

Great place to spend less money but the headaches of living amongst latinos makes you think you made a mistake moving here. for instance I just came back from the new mall. I entered with my motorcycle but when I tried to exit their parking garage I couldn't find the "special" exit for motorcycles and I had to protest and argue with the parking guard to let me out. These people are so illogical it would take another 10,000 years for them to evolve enough to make something that makes sense.

You get for what you pay... and "living amongst latinos" sounds a bit off, don't you think?
