For a job in Kenya, you should have a work permit. There are various classes of these, depending on your profession/type of work. For general employment, you need to secure a job offer, then your employer makes the work permit application. The process takes a few months and if you are here on a tourist visa, you will not be permitted to remain in Kenya beyond the expiry date. You can stay a maximum of 6 months on a tourist visa, provided you reapply before the first 90 days has expired.

You cannot legally do any sort of work, paid or unpaid on a tourist visa.
