Problem with bank and financing. How do i get my passport back ?

i lost may job because of the debt collectors keeps calling in my office and now there is a company that will hire mo just waiting for my passport to have it cozz it is in Dubai court as of now and then i see and iread but i don't know if it is confirmed that there is no jail term for expat whose having a problem in bank and financing if it is true how can i get my passport back again or someone new where can i get it or who the rigth person to contact i know my obligation but there is nothing to do with my family especially with my kids they sufferings now i need to stand up again for my kids please help me for this matters...God bless
