Does anyone know of an ex-pat who has moved to the southern part of Italy (Puglia) and is or has taught English. I'm considering taking a TEFL course to get a certificate in teaching ESL there and wondering if it is, in fact, necessary. I would think there is plenty of competition in larger cities like Rome, Florence and Milan, but smaller cities like Lecce would be easier considering the proximity to people migrating from eastern Europe.
Please let me know any thoughts you may have on this. Also, I am in the process of getting my dual citizenship to Italy (daunting, to say the least) so if anyone has any questions on that, feel free to contact me. I'll help you the best I can.
