Yesterday I went to the ******** to buy a new phone........So i went to the ******..before going there I got the so called TOURIST DISCOUNT CARD on which it was written that I can get 10% off on any product in all the stores that were listed on a small pamphlet given to me by the lady at the information counter.

I went to the samsung store and chose the phone that I wanted to buy............then I gave the guy the card to give me my 10% discount..he said NOOOOO WE CAN ONLY GIVE YOU A DISCOUNT ON ACCESSORIES........NOT ON is that possible ? its not written there when we get the card.................its totally misleading.............................................I even chose a couple of accessories but still didnt get the discount cause according to the useless store staff they were supposedly on discount...............all i am saying why on Earth they have this stupid discount card if there is no discount on it............................really disappointing.........tourists are not stupid...

I was most concerned to read how tourists are being ripped off by the centre, somewhere I've visited many times without a single problem.
I wondered if their standards had slipped to the point where they're happy to rip off tourists, but it seems not.


The terms and conditions are pretty clear, and seem to have been followed by all concerned - except the customer who didn't read and understand them.

Your complaint is both invalid and unfair.

As with many of these things, they are not quite as simple as they appear and the fine print usually explains all.

For most smart phones like Samsung, the price is controlled unless you are buying from online websites and then you might not get one with a warranty.

The fact is that excellent centre did nothing wrong, it was simply a case of the customer not understanding the terms of the card.
Something for nothing is always good news, but you can't just assume everything is for nothing.
