hi. does anybody know where to buy a legal windows version (preferrably windows 7)in ENGLISH? I need it within a couple of days if possible. If necessary I would also buy a (cheap) computer to go with it... My problem is that I need it soon... Any suggestions? Thanks!

Best bet in English is to buy it over the web probably. No idea if they sell Windows 7 as a download. Or order it as a CD express mail. But that's a long shot.

Thanks for your help, but we've already eliminated those possibilities.. the best would be a dealer in Almaty or at least somewhere where it would take one or two days to get here... thanks, though!

I don't live in Almaty, but I doubt you'll find it unfortunately. Unless it's possible to buy it in Russian and then download an English language pack from Microsoft. I know nothing about OSs and how they are packaged.
