Moving to the Netherlands means leaving one's family and friends behind. Creating a circle of friends or joining an existing one should therefore be paramount in order to fight loneliness in your host country.
But how can one develop a social network in the Netherlands? Where and how to meet people there?
How easy is it to meet locals? What about cultural specificities?

Dutch People are so helpful,speak and understand English,so cool..here
Whenever..where ever we meet people they respond with smile and saying hello..hi.
We can meet many people at events in Amsterdam mostly in weekends...people always respond to everyone..they never hesitate to help.
