Multiple exit/re entry Visa for 5 momths

The subject of the thread is "Multiple exit/re entry Visa for 5 months". The Multiple exit/re entry (ERE) duration is fixed at 6 months. You can't have it for 4.5 or any other fraction of months. If the Iqama duration left is less than 6 months, obviously obtaining this visa won't be possible.

Last year I faced a situation that's relevant. I visited Jawazat to get multiple exit re-entry for my dependents. By that time, this option wan't there on Absheer and everybody had to visit Jawazat to have it. The officer there apologized explaining that as I (being the sponsor) don't have multiple ERE, my dependents can't have it as well. I don't know what's the status of this rule now but anyways, this is what happened in 2015.
