Hello Everyone,

This is my first topic over here and I'm seeking your advise.

I have been contacted by one company to work in a project in Karbala. could anyone living there or in Iraq advise me on how safe it is? and the life there? accommodation?

Karbala is located very near to Fallujah, which is an ISIS strong-hold, and will be subject to fighting in the near future. Security at the Karbala work site would be a main concern, and surely the project contractors are taking this into account. You might ask about the specific security measures in-place now. This would include security at the work site and security measures when travelling to airports.
