Over stay fees for the Dominican Republic

Will crossing the boarder at Haiti shortly before leaving the Dominican Republic eliminate the over stay fees after an extended visit to the DR.

When you cross that boarder you should be required to pay the appropriate overstay fee. Coming back in you should also get a new stamp in your passport which starts your time over again!

Welcome to the forum and yes please introduce yourself.

Remember there are costs to cross the border (transport and Haiti fees plus overstay fees of for the DR if you are in the DR for more than 30 days) that will probably exceed just paying the overstay fees when leaving the DR.
