In retrospect, would you move again to Honduras?

Hi all,

If you had to look back on your expat experience in Honduras, would you heartily say "let's do it again"?

From the preparation stage to your actual everyday life in your new country, what did you enjoy the most?

Would you do certain things differently? Could you tell us why?

How would you describe the benefits of your expatriation in Honduras so far?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience. We look forward to hearing from you!

Christine

You have to be somewhere! Costa Rica would have been much nicer, however whatever the stars decide! Honduras is a beautiful country, yet extremely difficult to bear. Bad women, lying, scams, rude people, high murder rate! You need to be careful at all times.   Yes, by the way Honduras has excellent doctors and dentists, and in my opinion superior than State side.

Yet, some people believe that Honduras is a place where even squares can have a ball. One of my friends, Scott Hipp, thought Honduras was a great place. He grew up in Vera Cruz state, and was most proud of how Hondurans taught him to lie so well! He also commented that Honduran grandmothers could out cuss Mexican prisoners. Vera Cruz is considered the State of Rogues by other Mexicans.

And as stated prior, its natural beauty is incredible. ¡Cucaracha!
