I am a very fit 64 year old man who does not speak french planning to move to the languedoc / Pyrenese area and learning french when there, How difficult am I going to find it in that area?

I moved to Port Vendres in Oct. My wife was able to find French lessons easily. It is also a good place to meet fellow expats who are also learning. Courage!
