I've had an offer from a Jeddah outfit that includes an annual housing allowance of 17 000. My wife, 2 kids, cat and all my furniture would be coming to Jeddah. Can we find an apartment (not furnished!) for that amount? It seems I'd need 70 000, not 17 000!
