How many months can a visitor stay in oman?

Hello all,

Can someone please tell me how many months a visitor is allowed to stay in Oman?

I thought it was 3 months, but someone recently told me it's one month plus the chance to extend for another one month?

Hi galeema,

A visit visa is valid for a period of 3-months and is extendable by another 1-month.

So in all, a visitor can stay in Oman for 4 continuous months on a visit visa.
