Seeking for a Job Permit

How can I get a Job Permit for Malaysia, as security and administrative expertise and a nust retired Army Officer?

There are 2/3 Milion Bangladeshis working in Malaysia. I am looking for a suitable Job Permit as an Administrative, HR, Logistics, Operations, Training and Security expart. Kindly suggest.....

Google is your friend...

Hi Manjur,

Maybe you should try to contact the embassy so that they can guide you on the procedures to obtain a work permit.

The articles on work in Malaysia may also help.

Thanks,

Priscilla

Hi you cant.

The 2 million (who really knows) Bangledeshies working in malaysia are nearly all illegal workers paid 1000rm per month. The legal ones are foreign workers hired by companies via agents and they are treated like slaves and paid 1000rm per month (or less after "deductions"). They prefer young workers as stronger. Just like slave owners!

There are 4 million illegal workers in malaysia. Think roman slave style conditions not expats.

Security industry has to be nepalese only workers btw. The managers are always malaysian.

Thanks Pricsilla.

Thanks NEMODOTIf I take MM2, can you have an optimistic suggestion also? What, if I take the MM2H, can I do job and earn to live?

Mr Manjur,

if you read through MM2H policy, it says:
Employment/Business Investment Rules for MM2Hers
MM2H visa holders aged 50 years old and above can work for up to 20 hours a week. This is applicable to visa holders who have specialised skills in certain approved sectors. We are advised the decision on whether to approve part time work is based on the approving committee view on whether a Malaysian could do the job.

MM2Hers are permitted to set up and invest in businesses in Malaysia. They will be subject to the same regulations as other foreign investors but will not be permitted to become actively involved in the day to day running of the business. If they wish to do this they must switch their visa to a work permit.

20 hours a week is equivalent to 4 hrs a day which is equivalent to a part time job. Specialized skill is not a position for executives but specialists.

Not to be discouraging but you need to understand the minimum requirements set and re-consider if you do not meet them.

Harsh but true that most Bangladeshis here become illegals. Their influx into Malaysia is for political reasons more than a real need to fill up the non-existent vacancies. We all know that.....

MM2 is really for retired people with comfortable income. You need unencumbered real unearned income so your army pension would be perfect. I think it's 12,000 a month you need. Plus you have to put a deposit down, again I think it's 150,000 but maybe more for under 55 years old.  ( I don't suppose you'd ever get it back!). Obviously you need full medical which I'm sure you'd pass and you have to buy full medical health insurance. You would be allowed to do 20 hours part time work. Not your wife though. Unless she applies for her own MM2.

Yes, I gone through the rules and my lack of knowledge are well filledup by your comprehensive mail. Thanks for that. The other point about illegal Bangladeshis in Malaysia is not because of your internal politics you intended to express but grossly of the Political Clowns of Bangladesh as well. Those raw people are sent from  villages without any education, training even briefing. In exchange the political people are eating money through middle agencies. Undenying the fact that Malaysians are greatly benefited by utilizing the opportunity of less paid Bangladeshis. Anyway, thanks again for your update.

Dear Manox Monkey, thanks for your kind response. Best wishes.
