I sent a birthday card to my fiancee on March 2nd. From Florida USA to Hanoi.

Here it is now April 2nd and she still has not received the birthday card.

I'm starting to think somewhere along the line the card was opened, maybe looking for money, there was none..just a card...and then tossed in the garbage.

Anyone have insight into how long postal mail takes between USA and Vietnam? Am I right it was probably opened and thrown away?

If that's a card then it won't be opened. Do you have Tracking No.? You can go to website of EMS checking up its status.

I sent it regular post by U.S. Postal Service. Once it leaves the USA, there is no tracking number.
