Environmental protection is a challenging issue for all the countries around the world. Would you say this issue is deemed of significance in Qatar?
Is the country going green through initiatives like waste management and selective sorting programs, renewable energies, public transport, green awareness campaigns and so forth?
How do you personally commit to improve the environment in your daily life?
We would greatly appreciate if you could tell us more about the various local initiatives for sustainable development in Qatar.

Hi,
I have come across to one of the International Repute company having green initiative as E- plantation through CSR activity. It generates local employment, decrease carbon emission & develop green belt around the country side, public places through public -private partnership. The sustainability is very high due to style & approach they carry out the activity with risk/warranty for 1-2 years free of cost.
It was amazing and very friendly to develop in Qatar where no legal hurdles are available much.

This is just a concept and is far from being implemented. If you look at the amount of plastic bags they waste, one can understand where they stand.
Another issue us the level of education of mixed people living here.
