Been doing the hash thing and been wearing tennis shoes. Terrain has been a bit rougher than tenni type conditions. Went to sport shop in Granada Mall and a pair of North Face hiking boots was 595 SR (ouch!). Is there a sporting good shop in town that has a good selection and reasonable prices for some "non-professional" type hiking boots?

try to visit the al-qarawi shop near kingdom tower. Caterpillar has hiking shoes which are cheaper than north face.
