Does anyone know anything about foster care in PR

Hi All, my husband and I are moving to the San Juan (Toa Baja) area starting March 1 for his job with the fed gov.   About a year ago we became foster parents in Maryland.  It's just something we always wanted to do and we really loved doing it. We had some really great kids in our home.  I was hoping to be able to be a foster parent in PR but have found very little info online about starting the process, etc.  I even called the one phone number I found online and found the lady who answered the phone to be pretty negative.  Does anyone know a current or former foster parent that might be a resource for me to get the ball rolling?  Or maybe you have some info on the process, etc.  Please don't hesitate to give me any insight. Thanks

How about this link I found?

First one looks good, second one not so sure:
https://www.fosterclub.com/groups/puerto-rico

How is your Spanish? Most kids in PR that need foster care are not likely to know English.

I have no doubt that you can foster children in Puerto Rico. I just did the following key word search: foster care puerto rico
This brings up infio you can use.
Also look at:

The first reference given by ReyP is good if you want to foster.
The second reference seems to an advocacy organization for foster children and people who were fostered. It's not a foster agency or facilitator but looks good if one wants to help foster children in other ways.

In my previous life I was a child welfare social worker, adoption supervisor, and social work trainer. Good luck, I'm sure you will be successful although from experience I know that devil is in the details and bureaucracy can be frustrating at times.
