Have you tried searching Google? This isn't really an "expat" problem, but rather a household sanitation issue.

Put any bedding including mattress out in the sun for at least 4 hours or more.
Then wash the bedding as usual.
If the mattress cover can be removed then wash that too.
If not spray the mattress with white vinegar and put out in the sun again. Bedding can recieve the same treatment too.
Dust the mattress and bedding with talcum powder when dry.
You may have to repeat this process.
