In order to save space in my suitcases, I want to get rid of the cases my dvds and blurays come in and just stack them on those plastic media "cake boxes". Will this create problems for me getting through customs? Please let me know. Thanks.

Dear Eddie,
If you don't have duplicate titles -- which would indicate intent to sell your CD's -- you shouldn't have any problem bringing into Ecuador a reasonable number of them.
Even in something called a "cake box."

Thanks, cccmedia. A "cakebox" is the plastic "tower" that comes with the purchase of blank discs.
